Andy Bernstein

Andy lives in Mallorca, Spain. Recently, he worked as a regional canvassing lead for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). Andy is earning a Ph.D. in political science at the University of the Balearic Islands, where he is writing his thesis on the relationship between political misconceptions and political corruption.

Advice for current and future PLSI students:
Follow your passion and your dreams. Although things might seem difficult at the moment and life can get in the way, be patient, work hard, and always keep an eye on your goal. Life is long, and opportunity is always around the corner for people who work hard to achieve their goals. Political science is a fascinating field, and political scientists are more necessary than ever.
