The purpose of the Political Science Student Association (PSSA) is to be a support system for political science students by providing information, contact support, and a forum for the exchange of ideas regarding political issues and current events. In addition to regular meetings, the PSSA organizes special events and debates, which cater to topics related to the discipline. The PSSA is dedicated to maximizing the influence of political science students on campus resources in a way that is inclusive and strictly non-partisan. In addition, the PSSA is responsible for organizing the annual political science graduation ceremonies. Remember, this is your student association and can only be as good as you make it, so get involved!
For more information about upcoming PSSA events and meetings, please visit our department office or email email@example.com.
The Political Science Graduate Student Association is a student-run organization of the graduate students of the Department of Political Science at SF State. We come together to heighten the experience at San Francisco State University and to create a core group that advocates for the needs and desires of the Political Science graduate students on campus.
We are an organization that strives to support Political Science graduate students at San Francisco State University, by aiding their voice on campus, to support further career and educational endeavors, continuing efforts to support the Department of Political Science and to foster a group that allows for intellectual discussion and debate. We organize and host the annual Political Science Graduate Students Conference at San Francisco State University and help graduate students present their research papers and prepare to be a representative for larger conferences. We believe that by working together, graduate students can help make better graduate students.
