Rebecca Eissler is an Assistant Professor in the Political Science Department at San Francisco State University. She teaches courses in American political institutions, specifically Congress and the Presidency, and research methods. Her research focuses on agenda setting and information processing dynamics in the presidency. She is a Faculty Associate with the Policy Agendas Project (https://www.comparativeagendas.net/us) and a former project managers, where she coordinated the collection, topic coding, and distribution of PAP datasets. She received her Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and her B.A. in Political Science and Theatre-Design from Tulane University.
